Tamara Protassow is a non-fiction writing mentor + creativity coach for too-busy people. She has a BA in English in what was once Women’s Studies and is now called Gender Studies, from The University of Melbourne. She speaks on creativity + writing, and helps authors develop non-fiction books.
Tamara has developed and edited books with 55+ authors, including Denise Duffield Thomas, Leonie Dawson and Lisa Lister, and has edited both freelance for self-published authors, as well as for Hay House UK.
She runs a membership for authors, The Gentle Rebels Club, for writers to learn to make space to write their books by unpicking their internalised patriarchy + capitalistic expectations of productivity. Unlocking creativity is the focus of her work, because it’s through creativity that we change the world.
Tamara lives in the hills outside of Melbourne, Australia with her partner, two young adult kids, dog, two cats and four chickens.
